350 Trees on the way

Our joint efforts with HKNA have paid off ! NYC Parks Department Commissioner, Adrian Benepe, confirmed that 70 trees will be planted this season (April 2008). Martin Treat lead the effort and HKNA is in weekly contacts with the Parks’ project manager . Their staff has already marked many locations and cut the concrete. Further , the balance of the 350 trees will be planned for the coming seasons as part of the PlaNYC2030’s  Million Tree Program.
