On Earth Day, Sunday the 21st from 11:00am – 2:30 pm a group of civic minded neighbors joined in for the first ever “Clean up 9th Avenue” day. Per Stella and Paul “this is a way for us to clean 9th avenue, our home and community and inspire others to take to their street, park, and storefronts to clean up their local environment. ”
They provided garbage bags and gloves, collected over 20 bags of trash and had several people thank them. They want to make it a periodic thing and we applaud their efforts. See how happy it makes you to clean the street!
