Happy crowd of neighbors and passers-by enjoyed an opera performance on West 21st Street (9/10), on September 10, 2022. The company “The Opera Next Door” performed “The Old Maid and the Thief”. Over 200 people of all ages attended and enjoyed mini cupcakes from Billy’s Bakery.
This is to the credit of our Open street steward extraordinaire, Jim Saylor, who maintains the barricade (not a small job!) and already produced previous events. On West 22nd Street (7/8) another brilliant Open Street steward, Melodie Bryant, recently sponsored a chalk painting event and a supersized marionette show.
