The Congestion Pricing commission is holding hearings to better inform its decision due in January 2008
Congestion Pricing is :

- A viable way to fund the $ 30 billlion in transportation needs of the city
- The best way to make Lincoln Tunnel as expensive as other routes for trucks and commuters
- A way to get an improved legislation to enforce gridlock rules
- A major step toward pedestrian safety
- A critical step to facilitate the 9th Avenue renaissance
- A giant step toward a cleaner air and reduction of our Asthma hospitalization level ( the second highest in Manhattan after Harlem according to the Department of Health- 2006)
