There is no better way to influence the outcomes on your block and your neighborhood than by joining the Community Board. By giving only three evenings a month you can play a pivotal role in all consultations between City agencies and the Community: zoning, bike lane, sidewalk cafes, phone booths, bar licenses, street fairs, parking , traffic safety measures, truck routes, landmarks, budget priorities. And you still have time to grab that drink with friends after the meetings! The enrollment is open for another two weeks . See the details here.
“Borough President Scott Stringer’s office is currently accepting applications to serve on the local Community Board (CB). Serving on a CB is a great opportunity to shape your neighborhood, improve service delivery, and be at the forefront of community based planning.
