Jane Jacobs,  the woman who singlehandedly took down megalomaniacal automobile- obsessed city planner Robert Moses, is the  philosopher behind Transportation Alternatives ’s multi-modal mission to reclaim streets as public space for pedestrians, bicycles and transit.

As part of an international weekend of Jane Jacobs’ events,  we invite you to see all we’ve accomplished in her inspiration . Walk with us from Time Square Plaza , to Gansevoort Plaza, on neighborhoods streets transformed by T.A. and CHEKPEDS to reflect Jane Jacobs’ legacy. Reserve your Spot – RSVP
