CALL TO ACTION : Traffic calming @ 34th Street and Dyer Avenue

In December 2009, the City Council voted to rezone the Western Rail Yards. As part of this negotiation, Speaker Quinn insited and the City agreed to set up a task force to make good on its 2005 promises to green Hell’s Kitchen, 34th to 42nd Streets, 8th to 10th Avenues. Port Authority-owned Dyer Avenue occupies a large portion of this area. Join us to comment on two proposals to reclaim unused street space, calm traffic and generate more green space.

Reduction of Lincoln Tunnel traffic spillover on 9th Avenue
