On Wednesday October 3rd, Manhattan Community Board 4 will vote on recommendations for the future of phone booths as part of the new 2014 franchise contract.
It is important that you document which problematic pay phone should be removed as part of the contract renewal. On 9th and 8th Avenues in Hell’s Kitchen there is more than twice the concentration of installations as in Chelsea, even thought the sidewalks are narrower.
