Eighth Avenue protected bike lane: Safety benefits for both bicyclists and pedestrians

Community Board 4 will take a final vote on the conversion of the Eighth Avenue bike lane from unprotected to protected between 14th and 23rd Streets. The segment below 14th Street on 8th Avenue has already been converted. Some residents and businesses are still opposed to this safety initiative.
