Now that 40 MTA gantries have been installed around the Lincoln Tunnel entrances and exits (not a pretty sight), it is crucial that West side residents benefit from the Congestion pricing program: it must reduce the daily tsunami of New Jersey commuters that overwhelm our streets, intersections and slow down first responders.
Our elected officials stepped up to the plate and wrote to the Traffic Mobility Review Board to ensure that New Jersey drivers do not get special treatment and pay their fair share .
We deserve safe streets and clean air. Our local businesses deserve a reasonably quiet environment and a chance to strive.
