DOT is coming before the Transportation Committee in November to give a presentation on the proposed routes for West Midtown which are continuations of the ones installed in CB 5 & 6. The proposed bike lane routes are like the ones installed on 29th and 30th Street – just markings no floating parking.
The corridors are as follows:
– W 39th, W 40th Streets between 8th and 9th Aves
– W 43rd, W 44th, W 48th, W 51st, W 54th, W 55th Streets between 8th Ave and the Hudson River Greenway
– 12th Ave between W 51st St and W 52nd St
