Tomorrow morning Transportation Alternatives will join New York City Council Members, health professionals, and advocates from many organizations including AARP to rally in support Intro 120, “The Saving Lives Through Better Information Bill.”
This critical piece of legislation will require the NYPD to make traffic safety data (which they already collect) public on their website the same way they do with CompStat major felony data.
We know this will help empower community stakeholders — local residents, community boards, elected officials and activists like you with the crucial information to effectively campaign for safer streets. Join us at the rally to help show the media and elected officials that the time to pass Intro. 120 is now!
