I live near the corner of 38th and Ninth with my four children. The air pollution (and noise pollution) in our neighborhood is awful, and the idea that there will be a 50% increase in bus traffic is simply unthinkable. The increase in pollutants will not be limited to the emissions produced by the extra buses, but will also be caused by the polluting effect referable to more traffic jams.

We must have an environmental impact report before any proposed increase in bus journeys is further considered. Any increase in bus traffic must be subject to the qualification that all NJ-NY must be on electric buses.
