Pedestrian Safety is DOT’s #1 goal for Hell’s Kitchen study

In response to the Advisory Council’s suggestions,  DOT confirms that pedestrian safety is the top priority for the study , and amended the scope of its Traffic Engineering Study of Hell’s Kitchen to include many additonal dangerous locations. The Transportation Advisory Council members have contributed their comments and the DOT its repsonse. You can learn more about the  progress on the project blog . A community outreach session is tentatively scheduled for either April 30th or May 1st at 6 p.m.
