If you think that 9th Avenue is messy, please come and visit Hell’s Kitchen South where the Bus terminal demolition is proceeding at full speed including noisy work 11 PM to 5 AM.
Some tunnel ramps are bing closed at night in order to install the steel beams that will eventually support the park. This is monumental work above the highly trafficked highway and very close to residence ( 6 inches) . Let’s hope the result is worth the grief.
Manhattan Community Board 4 Working group continues to closely monitor the project with PABT. They also attend a monthly Construction task force with convened by the PABT where many government agencies and elected officials get updates and air concerns.
