Last night, EDC and its contractors opened the floor to the public to solicit ideas on how to rebuild the antiquated and sometimes crumbling Manhattan Cruise Terminal (MTC), located on Pier 88 to 92 on the Hudson River.

The MTC is a major economic engine for New York City with 210 days of cruise ship activity at a terminal that was build in the 1930s and in dire need of modernization.

The master plan will establish vision and goals for the renovated terminal and will be used to direct further work by engineers and designers .
