DOT published the recently completed environmental study for the installation of the 34th Street Transitway. Unfortunately it appears that the two large buildings and 5 stores located on the north side of 34th Street between Dyer and 10th Avenues will have only three loading spaces. This is clearly unrealistic and unacceptable. This will affect also the south side since contractors seeking parking will probably endue parking on the south side.
CHEKPEDS has suggested a better way , with everyone having more loading space AND that will create significant green space on Dyer Avenue .Community Board 4 send a letter to DOT to ask for more loading spaces.
Sign the petition
in support of our neighbors , to obtain more loading space in front of their residences and businesses.
