128 fatalities this year-to-date, 19 drivers charged!

The more we hear about it, the more obvious it becomes that the NYPD applies the law in a very discriminatory fashion: when a pedestrian or a bicyclist is involved, leaving the scene of the crash  is not even considered punishable. When a car passenger is involved, even when there is no suspicion of wrong doing , or the person stays at the scene, they get charged with second degree assault!
