On January 8, 2007, over 130 members of the coalition were adressed by Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum and Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer on the new era of transportation in our city. Fred Kent of Project for Public Space illustrated the goals and benefits of the PlaceMaking process while Tim Tomkins, Head of the Times Square Alliance, gave his recipes for success.
