Unfortunately, we just learned that the planning division of the Port Authority has put on hold the transfer of all parcels, until they have identified swing spaces to stage buses while the bus terminal is being refurbished.
While this is very disappointing, we have been assured that our plan for a park on Dyer Avenue continues to have support within the Port Authority and will be reconsidered within two years.
We want to express our gratitude for all of you who stepped up to the plate. All the money raised will be returned as soon as it is delivered to us from the crowd-sourcing platform. We will keep you abreast of the developments concerning the park.
